Faraday Copper is in the final stages of closing to acquire BHP’s San Manuel Property in Arizona, creating a multi-asset copper district in the USA. We will present an update on the transformational acquisition, next steps that include both San Manuel and Copper Creek, and milestones towards a phased approach to multi-decade production.

Jeff Cornoyer brings extensive mining expertise spanning the complete project lifecycle, from early stage projects through operations and closure. His career encompasses integrated leadership across disciplines, consistently applying international standards to deliver safe, profitable, and sustainable outcomes.

Jeff is currently Vice President and General Manager at Faraday Copper in San Manuel, and he previously served as General Manager of Technical Services for ASARCO and Minera Mexico, General Manager of Ray Operations and Copper Basin Railway, and various Technical Services positions after joining ASARCO in 2017. Prior to that he worked on closure projects as an SRK Associate, the Hermosa before it was acquired by South 32, and spent 10 years as Sr. Geologist for Rosemont Copper/Hudbay.

Jeff has a B.S. In Geological Sciences from ASU, holds Professional Master's from the University of Arizona Lowell Program in both Mining Engineering and Economic Geology, and is an AZ Registered Professional Geologist, CPG, SME Registered Member and former Tucson and SME Board member.

Please call or email by the registration deadline to cancel.  If you do not cancel your reservation by the deadline, SME is still required to pay for your dinner, and you will in turn be billed. Thank you.
