About Dinner Meetings

SME Tucson Section hosts regular dinner meetings for the purpose of industry fellowship, awareness, and growth. Anyone who has an interest in the mining industry or the featured program for the evening is welcome to join us.

Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of every month except April, July, October, and December: Location is the El Parador Restaurant in Tucson. Go to Events & RSVP page for meeting details.

Times: 
6:30-7:00 Social 1/2 Hour, Cash Bar
7:00-8:00 Dinner
8:00-9:30 Guest Speaker

Cost: 
With RSVP by 12 noon on Monday before the meeting:

  • $20 for members
  • $25 non-members
  • Free for current SME UA Student Chapter members

After RSVP deadline as seats become available through cancellations or no shows:

  • $25 for members and non-members

Payable in CASH or CHECK at the door. Make checks payable to SME Tucson Section.
Debit or credit cards are not accepted.

RSVP:  RSVP deadline is 12 noon the Monday prior to the meeting:

Cancellations and No Shows:
If you need to cancel please call or email the RSVP contact information above. If you RSVP and do not attend the meeting, we still must pay the restaurant for preparing your meal, and you will be billed.
